An Important Message from our Chairman Unfortunately, due to certain health issues, I am unable to continue in my role as Chairman of Headway Aylesbury Vale. The Charity has done some great work in helping survivors over the last 14 years but now faces a number of challenges if we are to adapt to the changing needs of new survivors. We are therefore seeking a replacement as soon as possible. Runner Tackles Marathon to Raise Funds for Headway

Bank worker Nicola Aldridge has completed a marathon to raise money for Headway Aylesbury Vale after a close relative suffered life-changing brain injuries in a fall down the stairs. Nicola, 42, from Monks Risborough completed 26 miles in the Chiltern Marathon on Sunday 11 September. She has already collected around £1,300 in sponsorship for Headway, an organisation which supports survivors of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Headway hunts for more volunteers and survivors

Headway Aylesbury Vale has fantastic premises and a bumper lottery grant, so you may think life is perfect for the charity. But trustees are on the urgent look-out for more volunteers and more survivors of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), as well as additional funds so they can fully realise their potential in 2016. The brain injury charity recently won a grant from the Big Lottery Fund to run photographic and art sessions. Sir David Jason calls on public to back Headway charity cyclist

Actor Sir David Jason is urging the public of Aylesbury to get behind Headway Aylesbury Vale by sponsoring cyclist Mick Simmonds on his epic 900-mile ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End. Businessman Mick, 53, a local painting and decorating contractor, is setting off on July 3 on behalf of Headway, the brain injury charity which moved into Wedgewood Street in Fairford Leys last year.
